Job description
We are seeking an experienced MEP Supervisor specializing in electrical systems for interior fit out projects. The ideal candidate will oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of electrical systems within our interior fit out projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to specifications, and compliance with safety standards.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and coordinate electrical installations for interior fit out projects from inception to completion.
· Develop project schedules, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
· Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
· Lead a team of electricians and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
· Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring efficient utilization of manpower and resources.
· Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project specifications.
· Oversee the installation of electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, and low voltage systems.
· Ensure all installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
· Coordinate with other trades to facilitate smooth integration of electrical systems with overall fit out requirements.
· Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for electrical systems.
· Respond promptly to electrical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions.
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as an MEP Supervisor or similar role in interior fit out projects, with a focus on electrical systems for a minimum of 5-6 years.
· Thorough understanding of electrical installations, including wiring, circuits, lighting, and control systems.
· Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (NEC, IEC, local building codes).
· Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
· Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenges in a fast-paced environment.
· Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
· Relevant certifications (e.g., Master Electrician license) a plus.
